Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the Automated Tracking Station command, status, telemetry, tracking control equipment, data recorders and ARTS/RBC enhancement systems.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform operational pre-pass, realtime, and post-pass satellite support functions in accordance with RTS Operating Instructions
  


• Perform preventative maintenance according equipment manuals.
  


• Documents maintenance.
  


• Keeps logs and records.
  


• Exercises independent technical judgment in the performance of duties.
  


• May serve as COMSEC Manager or COMSEC Responsible Officer or perform other collateral duties.
  


• Complies with applicable safety and security directives.
  


• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, safe and uncluttered manner.
  


• Provides on-the-job-training to other technicians.
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum two years vocations training or related military experience in electronics and working knowledge of electronics fundamentals.
  


• Experience with the use of electronic test equipment to include multimeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, frequency counters, signal generators, power meters, and data analyzers.
  


• Must have a valid US driver’s license
  

Desired Certifications:

• COMPTIA A+ / Network + / Security +
  

Clearance:

• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
  

Education:

• Must have a High School Diploma
