JOB DESCRIPTION: Force Protection Specialist for Pass and Permit Services (PPS) to all NATO/Resolute Support (RS) Personnel, Third Country National (TCN)/non NATO/RS Personnel and Locally Employed Personnel (LEP) working on base or transiting through. PPS consist of six (6) main functional areas: 1. Pass and Permits Office Services (Badge Production for NATO/RS Personnel and TCN, control and overseeing), 2. Biometric Enhanced Badges (BEB) Office (Badge Production for BEB and Special Badges, control and overseeing) 3. Swap Badge Office and Joint Personnel Reception Center (JPRC) –Passenger Assistance Team (PAT) (Temporary Badge Exchange for new comers/transient personnel and provide accountability for identified personnel arriving and departing) 4. Badge Exchange Offices at Entry Control Points (ECP) (Daily Badge Exchange function for LEP work force) 5. Support Services for Contractors Accountability Database (CAD) and Non Tactical Vehicle Registration (NTV); (Maintaining a KAF Contractor Accountability and NTV Database) 6. Movement Control Ground Requirements: Managing and coordinating Logistical Movement Requests (LMRs) and truck movements in ECPs
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: – Issue RS and base identification badges by registering and in processing all individuals requiring access for a certain period of time. – Production of BEB, VIP, Bazaar Badges and all ‘special type’ badges requested for production by authorized Force Protection Office. – Responsible for swapping proper identification (such as passport or National ID) of newly arrived individuals for a temporary Visitor’s Pass and Joint Personnel Reception Center (JPRC)-Passenger Assistance Team (PAT) with providing personnel accountability for all identified personnel arriving and departing from the Airfield – Retain all BEB access badges for distribution to the LEP workforce when they enter to KAF and recover the badges on their departure from KAF – Administer NTV vehicle registrations process set out in the local Standard Operating Procedure(s) – Manage and coordinate Logistical Movement Requests (LMRs) at Movement Control Center (MCC) and manage truck movements at ECPs through Movement Control Teams (MCT). – Shall operate biometric iris scanners connected to the BATS or similar biometric control systems MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Formal training or experience in force protection or badging techniques by virtue of a previous Military and/or civilian Counterintelligence, law enforcement or customs/immigration background. 2. Minimum of 3 years practical experience in the application of required duties 3. Provide a letter of reference, documentation of formal training and experience. 4. Minimum of SECRECT clearance. 5. Must possess a valid passport. 6. Must be able to pass a background investigation. 7. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. 8. Proficient in the use of MS Office suite.
