Job Description

Provides continuity of operations and management support to the U.S. Theater-level National Support Element (currently USFOR-A) inclusive of: having detailed knowledge of past, present, and planned Command and Control (C2) relationships; updating C2 slides in the command briefing for VIPs; the ability to write and coordinate periodic updates to the Theater C2 FRAGO and the USNSEC-A Terms of Reference; prepare and coordinate C2-related FRAGOs for USFOR-A and subordinate units; maintain SharePoint C2 sites on SIPR and CX-SWA Theater domain accounts; in coordination with J3 Force Management, track theater U.S. force flow of units and transfer of authority parameters; provide continuity of operations support and information for major units transitioning in and out of CJOA-A (Combined Joint Operational Area-Afghanistan), especially for the USFOR-A Headquarters; provide Content Manager and Files Manager services and continuity for the J3 websites, including permissions management, website support, and helpdesk services for the USFOR-A Staff, Liaison Officers, and subordinate units for several key weekly command-level briefings, including presentations using secure video-teleconference and Adobe Connect: coordinate and prepare the Commanding General’s periodic presentation for the HQDA G3 WWSVTCS; attend and present key external briefings to the Command; provide continuity for J3 periodic required reports.

Desired Qualifications:

The following qualifications are highly desirable and are a definite plus:

• Strong military background with deployment experience preferred.


• Minimum 5 years’ assignment as a Defense Readiness Reporting System-Strategic (DRRS-S) analyst.


• Extensive experience as a systems administrator in a MS environment.


• 
  

  Former Senior Advisor with G-2 and G-3 experience (minimum 24 months).
