Logistics Manager
REPORT TO: ADPM
The Logistics Manager is responsible to the ADPM for the operational oversight and management of the warehouse.
DUTIES:
Managing Facility Maintenance and Logistics Warehouse, reports directly to Logistics Manager
Create purchase request in Cost Point for government furnished equipment, property, and any items that reach the re-order point on hand stock replenishment of consumable materials
Reconcile inventory adjustments as required to ensure 100% accountability of warehouse storage locations. Maintain accurate, current, complete, and auditable records for accountability of property. Ensure property records reasonably reflect property transactions and dispositions
Ensure that workplace’s health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and warehouse stock
Promote constant motivation among staff to strive for an efficient and effective warehouse administration
Adheres to the procedures, guidelines, regulations, policies, directives, plans and instructs established for the Logistics & Warehouse Support Unit
Communicate effectively with subordinates, base staff personnel and headquarters personnel
Create purchase request in Cost Point for government furnished equipment, property, and any items that reach the re-order point on hand stock replenishment of consumable materials
Keeping stock control systems up to date, planning future capacity requirements, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods. Generate appropriate hand receipt
Manage updates in Maximo on new acquisition assets or material requirement in the system.
Conduct a 100% monthly inventory for consumables items, adjust inventory with accuracy and integrity. Ensure inventories are conducted on a monthly/quarterly requirement in accordance with current policy and procedures.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Knowledge of Maximo and Cost Point Database
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have five- eight years of professional experience logistics contingency support experience
Two-five years of managing a warehouse and staff of at least five people
Familiarity with Government supply chain management standards is required
Regional experience as well as experience managing subcontractors in a threat environment is also desirable
Must be able to manage workloads effectively including adapting to changes, planning, organizing and prioritizing work
Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of Maximo and Cost Point Database.
Must be able to work effectively under stress and pressure
Must be able to supervise a diverse workforce
REQUIRED:
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial field preferred
Security Vetting: Must successfully obtain a MRPT Security Clearance. Must maintain eligibility at the required security level for the duration of the contract
Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Medical: Favorable passage of a drug screen test and physical examination
Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
