(AFG) Site Lead (INSCOM G4) - Kabul, Afghanistan


Job Summary


The Site Lead is responsible for the performance of mid-level technical support projects or tasks in accordance with contract requirements, and appropriate policies, procedures and guidelines.This position will be supporting the G4 Worldwide Logistics Support program.


Principal Accountabilities


  • Directs and supervises all support resources for the performance of project assignments and activities

  • Manages the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation, and testing in accordance with project objectives

  • Assists in the management of the support services program in multiple locations or focus areas

  • Optimizes operating results in terms of cost, methods, and personnel

  • Implements QA program directives

  • Assists in defining and implementing program schedules

  • Coordinates with the COR/ACOR on contract requirements and concerns as needed

  • Deploys to other countries and/or theaters to perform quick reaction technical support to worldwide military contingency missions and requirements in potentially hazardous work environments

Knowledge & Skills


  • Excellent leadership, decision-making, verbal/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

  • Additional knowledge/skills will vary by contract or assignment.

Experience & Education


  • Military training in maintenance management a plus, such as graduate of Maintenance Management 353T course, or related civilian discipline

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in SIGNET, EW and/or support facilities is desirable

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience in the required field

  • TS security clearance w/SSBI and SCI eligibility

Physical Requirements/Working Environment


  • Maneuvers in small spaces; lift up to 50 lbs.; and perform all duties and provide timely, courteous and quality support to INSCOM or other customers/affiliates.

Travel


  • Some travel may be required CONUS/OCONUS in accordance with contract requirements.
