Job Summary


The Principle Field Service Representative (FSR) performs engineering, technical analysis and related duties required for the installation, operation, maintenance, modification, and repair of the Counter Remote Control Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare, or CREW, systems.


Responsibilities:
General evaluation practices, system troubleshooting, and Test and Evaluation of system hardware


Procurement and maintenance of Tools and Test Equipment to support FSR activities


Calibration and repair of Test Equipment


Interpretation of engineering drawings and documents in order to conduct maintenance,


installation and repair efforts


Participate in meetings, generate technical notes, provide technical briefs; and


interact with Regional Support Center (RSC) personnel regarding integration of the Universal Test Set (AN/GLM-11) with CREW systems


Train military personnel on the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of the system


Recommend course of action for repair and replacement of failed systems


Provide field support (installation/operation/maintenance/repair) of the AN/GLM-11 system, this includes initial acceptance of systems in-theatre, system software loading, unit training, system operation and verification of proper operation


Develops vehicle specific AN/GLM-11 Test Configuration Files (TCFs) based on controlled direct connect and over the air (OTA) AN/GLM-11 test files


Responsible for shipping and receiving of equipment to/from the stateside original equipment manufacturer (OEM) depot


Responsible for inventory control of deployed equipment, spare parts, tools, and associated documentation


Prepare reporting documentation of findings obtained during troubleshooting and testing of systems by serial number and/or unique identification number (UID)


Prepare Monthly inputs for the monthly status report documenting the work, issues, equipment status, and miscellaneous items that transpired in the previous 30 days


Qualifications


Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Engineering or Military / Technical Hands-on training, with 10 years experience in SIGINT/electronic warfare preferred


Must be a U.S. citizen with an active government SECRET security clearance


Have suitable experience related to radio frequency communications in an engineering or technician capacity


Familiarity with Army, Navy and Marine tactical SIGINT/EW operations to include: electronic attack (EA), electronic protect (EP), electronic support (ES), and radio direction-finding functions are considered highly desirable skills sets


Demonstrated the ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, the functions of the test set


Obtain Government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) approval as an FSR before performance commences


Some experience in training is desirable
