Essential Job Functions

• • Works directly with Government personnel, resource managers, and end-users to ensure successful implementation of all operations support.• Be accountable for and responsible for all systems assigned to.• Capable of operating all systems assigned.• Ability to provide Over-the-Shoulder, Train the Trainer, Train the Warfighter, and OJT training to end-users and newly assigned operators as required.• Attends and participates in required meetings, conferences, and program status review as required and reports customer needs to managers.• Perform daily operation status checks of all assigned systems and PMCS maintenance. Will inform the on-site commander daily on the status of all assigned systems.• Use fault isolation guides to troubleshoot and determine precise problems to inform qualified maintenance technicians to facilitate and expedite repairs. Maintain a log of all repairs done on systems under your responsibility.• Conduct security checks and properly safeguard equipment.


• Designs, implements and maintains electronic equipment, components and circuits for new and existing products. Assists in determining design approach and parameters to move product/system to manufacture or implementation.


• Assists in defining and developing quality standards of the end result in accordance with company and contractual requirements. Follows through to ensure quality standards are met.


• Assists in developing qualification test procedures and conducts qualification testing. Conducts testing and integration testing for functionality and limits. Examines and evaluates new electronic components and circuits.


• Creates prototypes for beta testing and for customer demonstration to ensure feasibility of product.


• Assists in reviewing vendor capability to support product development and makes recommendations on product specification and component selection.


• Researches new technology or development tools to recommend and/or introduce modifications and/or advances to current systems, products and methods.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience


• Bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering or related field preferred


• Four or more years of experience in electronic design


• Experience working with electrical theories, design principles and practices and design evaluation techniques


• Experience working with the company’s electronic design procedures


• Experience working with personal computers and related software applications


• Experience working with test lab equipment

Other Qualifications

• • Four or more years of experience in electronic design• Experience working with electrical theories, design principles and practices and design evaluation techniques• Experience training small groups of individuals• Experience working with personal computers and related software applications• Experience working with test/measurement equipment


• Good time management skills


• Good communication skills for presentation of findings to management
