FSS/HVAC-Mechanic - AECOM - United States

other maintenance personnel assigned to work center. Performs any other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
  


• Must have active NACI.
  


• EPA 609 certification in vehicle HVAC recovery, recharge and installation or equivalent required.
  


• 1-3 years of FSS and/or HVAC experience.
  


• Must have a basic understanding of HAZMAT and OSHA procedures.
  


• FSS and HVAC repair and use of job specific tools.
  


• Be responsible for rebuilding, inspecting, and testing the serviceability of certain fire extinguisher components by the technical specifications given by the manufacturer.
  


• Be proficient in the proper handling of hazardous materials such as, heptafluoropropane (FM-200), Monoammonium-phosphate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Petrotech 25, and dry nitrogen.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively during a 77 hour work week.
  


• Experience with fire suppression systems preferred.
  


• Ability to climb and work in tight spaces.
  


• Ability to lift 25 Lbs. continuously, 50 Lbs intermittently.
  


• Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  


• Ability to work overhead for extended periods.
  


• Ability to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
