Position Summary: **
MSI is seeking an experienced Anti-Corruption Specialist to provide technical leadership for an expected USAID-funded anti-corruption project that focuses on improving the performance and capacity of government and non-governmental institutions to reduce corruption in the delivery of public services by implementing procedural reforms, strengthened monitoring and oversight, and effective advocacy.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice and manage implementation of project activities addressing corruption in public service delivery institutions, and strengthen the capacity of CSOs to demand accountability and monitor institutions to support anti-corruption efforts.
- Design and implement anti-corruption assessments of government agencies.
- Training and coaching activities to increase citizen and government capacity to implement anti-corruption reforms.
- Undertake other tasks required to achieve the project’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in anti-corruption initiatives.
- A minimum of three (3) years of management and supervisory experience
- Technical knowledge and skills in designing anti-corruption activities and international best practices in fighting corruption
- Demonstrated successful experience working with government agencies and/or civil society to address corruption issues.
- Experience delivering capacity-building support to civil society to advocate for reforms and/or to monitor government actions
- Experience providing institutional capacity development support for government agencies
- Bilingual communications skills in English, and Dari or Pashto
