Nutrition and Education International (NEI) is an international NGO based in Pasadena, California

End malnutrition among impoverished women and children living in high mortality regions.

To reduce/defeat malnutrition, especially among women and children in impoverished areas. Since 2003 NEI has been developing a sustainable soy industry in Afghanistan in collaboration and partnership with many Afghan ministries and international food security organizations.

Job Responsibilities:

• Be involved in the entire cycle of designing and printing materials, including verification of proof samples.


• Create seasonal cards and a calendar for fundraising efforts.


• Photo management for creation of an organizational timeline book.


• Design infographics relating to NEI’s development work and accomplishments.

Design power point templates and other marketing items as needed.

Qualifications preferred:

• College coursework in relevant field.


• 2 years of experience with graphic design.


• Adobe Creative Suite and have strong expertise in PhotoShop and Illustrator.


• Finding and manipulating photos for both web and print vector based images, how to convert logos from bit-mapped to vector-based, and how to rasterize and manipulate vector images.


• Both web and print based design principles, including layout, graphic creation, and image manipulation.


• Design standards for professional websites, in terms of look, feel, branding and consistency.


• Collaborating on projects at any stage from concept to completion.


• Highly organized and detail-oriented multi-tasker.


• Must pay close attention to deadlines.

Job Type: Part-time
