Logistics Specialist II - Raytheon - Dulles, VA

Job Description:

The Property Management/Logistics organization has an immediate opening for a Property/Logistics/Planning Specialist supporting RMS’ Persistent Surveillance and Dissemination System of Systems (PSDS2) and Mission Video Distribution System (MVDS) programs in Dulles, Virginia. The successful candidate will work independently on assignments and perform under the guidance of RMS NTx Property manager and PSDS2 Program Manager to support program activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring property management compliance through the entire property life cycle from acquisition to contract closure


• Providing program logistic/warehouse support to ensure the flow of goods, services and information to meet contractual requirements


• Maintaining property records for all property accountable to the contract


• Submitting property reports to the customer of all property accountable to PSDS2


• Providing production control and planning support for the acquisition of material and equipment


• Hosting weekly logistics telecom with the customer and Raytheon team in Afghanistan to ensure inventory control and action tracking


• Manage and maintain the Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), capital, and associated Information Technology (IT) equipment at the Systems Integration Laboratory at the Dulles site

Required Skills:

• 2 years’ experience in a similar position


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, and Power Point

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Access, and SharePoint is desired.


• Familiarity with Warehouse management


• Excellent communication skills are required to effectively work with both internal and external personnel.


• Some knowledge of IT specifications
