The Role: Are you a physician assistant seeking an adventurous career? Then this position could be for you! You would provide clinical care in an urgent care type setting on a U.S. military base or government compound in Afghanistan. You will provide data-driven acute and preventative medical care to team members and contractors as required. Due to the nature of these working environments, it is important that you have a background operating in an austere high-risk environment. You will be a part of a multidisciplinary team. Ideally, you will have a strong background in a hospital, clinic, and/or military experience.
Location: Afghanistan
Rotations: This assignment is scheduled for one year with 30 days of R&R. The R&R can be divided up depending on your rotation preferences and available coverage.
Start date: August 1st

Currently licensed U.S. Physicians Assistant
2+ years of experience in a hospital, urgent care, or clinic setting
Current DEA License.
BLS, ACLS and PHTLS (or ITLS) certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working independently in remote areas.
