Job Description Supervises Fire Fighting Services operations within assigned area of responsibility (AOR). Operates, performs, and maintains fire fighting services in accordance with NFPA, AR, AFMAN, and DoDI. Responsible for responding to emergency calls, be able to quickly evaluate emergency situations, and be able to make appropriate decisions to deal with each emergency situation. Maintains and utilizes special fire fighting equipment, tools, and gear including but not limited to PPE, hoses, ladders, extinguishers, and other fire fighting apparatus. Expected to work in less than ideal conditions during periods of interruption to utilities services or other emergency conditions.


Position may be located in a war zone in a contingency environment with harsh, dangerous working and living conditions, which may include carrying and wearing required personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.

Basic Job Requirements – High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and five (5) years related experience.

Other Job Requirements – Excellent communication skills in English required, both verbal and written;

– Must have required Fire Fighting certifications, qualifications, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications – Prior Military and/or Contingency Operations experience preferred.

RTCH Operator

Job Description Rough Terrain Container Handler (RTCH). Performs PMCS on designated vehicles IAW current SOP or as instructed. Crane Operator must understand and fill out Crane Daily inspection document. Conduct Wire Rope monthly Inspections. Complete lift checklist. Loads/helps load cargo such as containers (20 and 40 ft), vehicles, crates, pallets, boxes etc. in a safe and secure manner. Performs minor repairs on section vehicles to include, adding POL products, etc. as needed. Assists other operators in similar duties as specified by Transportation Specialist leads and Transportation Supervisor. Responsible for the safe operation of a RTCH or safe movement of Crane and proper rigging of items to be lifted. Reports problems/discrepancies with RTCH or Crane to Transportation leads and/or the Transportation Supervisor for resolution. maintains proper dispatch of equipment being operated IAW Transportation Operations SOP and current regulations. Responsible to maintain a safe worksite during lifting operations. perform other duties and assignments as required.


This Job Description represents a summary of the generic job duties and qualifications for this position and shall not be construed as a complete listing of all tasks, as other duties may be assigned. Position may be located in a war zone in a contingency environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions, including lifting and carrying 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time. To ensure safety, health, and security measures within the contract are met, all employees shall be literate in English (read, write, speak and understand).


Living conditions on the project are most likely austere. The most austere sleeping may be in environmentally conditioned tents on “Army type” cots. Restrooms and showers may be 250 feet or further from sleeping quarters. Laundry service for 15 pounds twice per week is commonly provided. Meals are provided at regular intervals in cafeteria or “dining facility” style environment. Living area will most likely have constant hum of generators or similar equipment nearby.

Materials Control Specialist III

Job Description Provides specialized technical and administrative services within the CIF. Supports operating a CIF with Direct Exchange (DX) service for designated OCIE. Assists management in ensuring project compliance with requirements contained in the LOGCAP IV contract. Assists in establishing, maintaining, and conducting processes for receipt, storage, and issue quantities utilizing the Army Information Management System (AIMS) for all CIF items.


Major job activities include: 1. Count, sort incoming material to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices. 2. Examine stock to verify quantity or conformance to specifications. Store material in bins, on the floor, on shelves, or in containers according to identifying information. 3. Fill orders or issue supplies from stock. Prepare periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock. 4. Requisition material to fill incoming orders. 5. Compile reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage, or shelf life to stock, location changes, and denial of shipments. 6. Mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles, using labeling equipment. 7. Make adjustments to articles carried in stock. May determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space. 8. Move or transports material or supplies to other departments, using Pallet Jack, Forklift or industrial truck. 9. Maintain inventory and other stock records, using computer terminal. Designated according to material, equipment, or product stored, i.e. Retail or wholesale items. 10. Receive, store, and sort unserviceable equipment and supplies for disposal.


May supervise a team of subcontractors and/or labor broker personnel, in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.
