Contract Type: • Permanent and Extendable.
Basic Requirement:
• Master Degree Holder, with at least five years of Experience, with minimum five years in developing project proposals for integrated development and social development projects.
Objective:
The firm is expanding its operation to achieve its full strategic goals and improving its quality of performance. This position is intended to lead the portfolio on both getting more project contracts awarded and promoting the firm activities and achievements to stakeholders and the public.
Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Social sciences/ Business Administration and/ or any other development field,
• Proven experience in the related field, minimum five years,
• Experience working with World Bank, USAID, UN EC, AusAid, ADB and other development donors,
• Project planning and proposal writing skills,
• Contract negotiation skill,
• Good knowledge of computer, spreadsheet applications and word processing as well as internet and emailing,
• Accuracy, detail oriented, dedicated and transparent,
• Initiative, self-managed, and ability to work independently (consulting with management).
• Secure accommodation will be provided by the employer.
Essential Personal Qualifications:
• Conflict solving skill,
• Timeliness is a must in this position and candidate must have a very high sense of taking responsibility for delivering results on time,
• Team forming and team player,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
Responsibilities:
• Contribute in overall development of the firm’s quality of work and expansion of business,
• Seek business opportunities in line with the firm’s business services and consider those matching the firm’s capacity and interest,
• Develop project proposals according to client requirements in the fields of firm business line,
• Develop operational plans and guide the team to implement it,
• Set strategies to improve quality of work up to international standards,
• Lead developing project proposals, negotiations and contracting with clients,
• Represent the firm in international forums and stakeholder meetings,
• Lead all communications/publications and PR of the firm (both online and offline),
• Support relevant staff in building their capacity to contribute in business development,
• Support in developing and improving quality of operational systems for business development,
• Perform other tasks that will be needed for achieving organization’s development and strategic goals.
