Responsibilities:
Manage the operations of the Field Module Refresh (FMR) at the Hawthorne Army Depot. Coordinate the FMR activities with the Government Depot Systems Administrator (DSA), Manager, Information Services, and Manager, Traffic and Accountability to assure the continuity of FMR services at the Hawthorne Army Depot. Tracks comliance or non-compliance with the 3 day, 24-28 hour requirements. Responsible to ensure the end of the shift and end of week counts are accurate and the end of the project counts are balanced. Complete responsibility and authority to manage the process to rectify any discrepancies. Leads the formal causative research group when accountability issues arise. Work requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment using an exceptional knowledge of ammunition peculiar accountability systems. Has the authority to hire and fire other employees or to recommend hiring, firing, promotion, change of status of employees. Work requires the exercise of discretion and independent judgment. Perform other duties of the same or lower level of difficulty as assigned. Maintain high ethical standards, overall values of the business, and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct to include cooperating during Company investigations; treat all individuals fairly and with respect.
Responsible to coordinate with the DSA verifying that the Material Release Order file is interfaced and importing data into the MTMS-FM. Ensure that local systems are operational and communicate with the JMC Government representative and Senior Systems Analyst (ammo plant), to identify and resolve problems with off Depot Systems. Maintain oversight and assure that daily dump files are received from the DSA.
Manage the installation of client software on workstations and configuration if Total Asset Visibility (TAV) tools as required.
Manage the troubleshooting efforts related to the application software as they occur and communicate with Senior Logistics Subject Matter Experts in recording and interpreting local user’s software issues and identify in detail to the Program for review.
Provide oversight and training to site users, as required, with creation of Radio Frequency (RF) tag data and the submission of tag files to the CONUS Intranet Visibility (ITV) server. Ensure the tag docking workstations are properly mapped and that the TAV tools software is pointed to the appropriate file locations.
Provide oversight and direction for local site users and HQs with all vessel moves (call-forward and retrograde) to include but not limited to, validating that shipments are read at the RF Interrogators are operational, tip files have been sent to ITV server, etc.
Represent the software developer contractor during functional testing, prior to releasing new versions of FMR or related software to the user community for regression testing. The software developer contractor will maintain full responsibility for the version release.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: B.S. degree in Business Administration, Industrial Supply Management or combination of appropriate education and experience.
EXPERIENCE: Four (4) years experience in Supply Documentation Management.
