Logistics Supervisor
JOB DUTIES
Property inventory, property control and accountability of sensitive and non-sensitive equipment and manage the property book of BAS.
Create all requisition/purchase request of BAS
Coordinate all BAS procurement to procurement department
Receiving and Vendor coordination for all BAS purchases.
Issuance of equipment to subcontractor and PAE employees
Manage BAS Vehicle fleet maintenance with one fleet maintenance specialist
Complete monthly logistics reports and deliverables as requested
Develops, implements, and enforces corporate policies, processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to facilitate consistent, coordinated, and timely logistics operations.
Perform other tasks as may be required
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience in lieu of education
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years logistics experience, with some international experience in Afghanistan preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS
Expert knowledge of FAR/DFAR clauses for movement of US Government cargo to include
compliance with the US Cargo Preference.
Experience in Cost Point and Maximo
Supervisory experience including coaching, training and motivating a team.
Proven ability to analyze complex transportation issues, prioritize workload, train all level
of personnel, manage multiple teams, monitor performance and create effective reports on
related activities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
